Why can't myopia be cured?

The eye is not only the head of the five senses, but also the window of the mind. It is the only organ connecting external things. The eye is not an independent organ, but is constructed by meridians, Qi and blood, muscles and visual cells. When there is a problem with internal circulation, myopia will occur. Can myopia be cured?

"Pseudomyopia" how to return a responsibility?

Pseudomyopia is due to excessive use of the eye, resulting in continuous contraction and spasm of ciliary muscles, increased lens thickness and blurred vision. If pseudomyopia is not relieved in time, it will eventually lead to axial enlargement and become true myopia. The imaging principle of the eye is similar to that of a camera. We all know that the system responsible for zooming in the eye is called the ciliary muscle. When you look far away, your ciliary muscles relax, and when you look close, they contract.

Pseudomyopia is only the abnormality of accommodation function of eyeball. This change is reversible. We should correct the bad habits of using eyes in time, and then cooperate with the treatment of relieving ocular muscle fatigue.

Usually, by doing eye exercises, looking far away and relaxing, muscle spasm can be relieved. Find a natural place with a wide field of vision when there is plenty of light every day, such as grassland, public, etc. Then close your eyes and relax. Then open your eyes, look at the flowers and trees in the distance, gaze for 20-30 seconds, and try to identify the outline of flowers and trees. Then turn your eyes to the flowers and trees nearby, gaze for 5-10 seconds, and try to identify the details. Then repeat the above operation for about 10 minutes each time.

Why is axial myopia incurable?

Unfortunately, axial myopia is incurable. The eye axis is the length of a hypothetical line from the central apex of the cornea to the optic nerve and the fovea of the retina, which is equivalent to the distance from the front of the lens to the bottom. When the axial length of the eye is moderate, the object will fall perfectly on the retina, which is the most clear imaging.

When the axis of the eye is too long, distant objects are imaged in front of the retina, which is a blurred image on the retina, causing us to see things far away from us clearly. Usually, with the development of children's eyeballs, the axis of the eye will also grow little by little. If the axial development is too long, it will cause myopia. And as the axial length increases, the degree of myopia will also increase.

We can imagine that eyeball development is a "one-way street", and the "car" of eye axis can only move forward or stop, and can not turn around or reverse. Therefore, once myopia occurs, only continue to aggravate and stop aggravating two possibilities, which is what we often say "myopia is irreversible".
